WalMart. Subdivisions. Smog. Polluted water. Traffic congestion. All these things are right over the horizon for the Bitterroot Valley--if we don't act now! Many of us might have forgotten what brought us to this beautiful land in the first place, but those interested in the "selling of the West" have not. The prospect of making huge amounts of money is driving the current push to convert our lovely valley into a mini-Denver. Need a bit more motivation in order to get involved? Take a look at what will be lost and what is to come if we continue down our current path of unrestricted development. If this doesn't rattle your cage, nothing will.
